WHERE I BELONG

Thinking about my life as a marginalised person in Iran, I realised one of the only times I had a deep sense of belonging was when I was in nature. This thought presented itself in my printmaking.
What fascinates me about printmaking is the accidental forms and colours that might lead you towards a path you were not expecting. By making prints based on my memories from Iran's nature, I explore through my sense of belonging to my homeland and look for visual elements that can depict these senses.
